The GLF was established as a charity in 1988 in order to develop forums and groups in 32 London boroughs and in the City of London.
  • Greater London Forum in partnership with Age UK London organised a Mayoral Election debate between the three main candidates and launched our Older People's Manifesto. Read and watch some of the fantastic coverage
here and here. Thanks to all who attended and contributed to such a lively discussion!
  • The Age Action Alliance (AAA) is informed and driven by older people themselves. We share the vision of improving older people’s lives; creating neighbourhoods where all older people are secure, valued and able to make a contribution to their local communities and wider society. GLF is an Alliance member. Find out more here. Click on the following links to read the AAA newsletter and declaration
  • The London Minority Ethnic Elders is running a campaign to highlight the financial needs of London's older population. To read all about it click here
  • Following the GLF survey on the use of the Freedom Pass and Older Peoples' economic value, the GLF and Peter Rayner are pleased to launch the 'Concessionary Travel - Burden on Society or Valuable Asset?' report. Our thanks go to Peter Rayner and his colleagues for the analysis and the final document. To read the report click here.
